PETERSBURG, Fla. – General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GDOTS), a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) announced today it is significantly expanding production capacity for its proprietary Ball Powder Propellant at its St. Marks, Florida, facility. This strategic investment will increase output by 20% and strengthen the company’s ability to meet growing global demand for high-quality propellant.

St. Mark’s Powder, a subsidiary of GDOTS, is the world’s largest producer of spherical propellant, recognized globally for its consistency, performance, and reliability. The facility’s expansion will enhance manufacturing output, modernize key production capabilities, build redundancy into critical processes, and support the long-term readiness and supply needs of both U.S. and allied customers.
