General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems Signs Framework Agreement to Expand Production Capacity for PAC-3 MSE and THAAD Missile Components

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GDOTS), a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) announced today that it has signed two framework agreements with the Department of War and Lockheed Martin to significantly expand production capacity for critical missile subcomponents supporting the PAC-3® Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) and Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) programs. The agreement supports the Department of War’s efforts to rapidly increase production capacity for critical integrated air–and–missile defense systems through its Acquisition Transformation Strategy.

Under the agreement, GDOTS will expand production of key missile subcomponents that are essential to PAC-3® and THAAD interceptors. The agreement establishes the foundation for multi-year production expansion, with contract definitization expected at a later date.
